Zero tillage is the most significant aspect of conservation farming, takes care of soil health, plant growth and the environment. Underground water contamination decreases under zero tillage due to the drastic drop in runoff and further under zero tillage, herbicides are broken down into harmless compounds very easily by soil microbes. The zero tillage option tends to be the more promising option for mitigating the adverse effects of global warming by reducing greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere. Zero tillage is an ecofriendly method for maintaining and improving soil, water and air from pollution hazards.
