Major population in India mainly depends and largely residing in the rural areas. The main livelihood is agriculture and allied activities like livestock rearing and fisheries (particularly in coastal areas). The livestock rearing is a source of major source of livelihood for agrarians including agriculture farmers and landless labourers. Now, it is going to be commercialized in India and boosted by Govt. of India, too. The Veterinary graduates have great opportunities in the education of Veterinary and Animal Sciences to serve the people of India.
